protection policy

This document describes how, on the inovai.cz website, we process the personal data you voluntarily provide through the contact form, and which analytics tools we use on the site.

1. Who processes the data

The data controller is InovaiTechnology s.r.o., IČO: 29643821, with registered office at č.p. 11, 687 12 Nedachlebice, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Regional Court in Brno, file no. C 152266. Contact: michael@inovai.cz, +420 725 582 427.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer - our processing is not regular, large-scale or systematic within the meaning of Art. 37 GDPR.

2. Contact form

What data we process

  • Required: first and last name, email, process description.
  • Optional: company, estimated volume / frequency.
  • Technical: IP address and User-Agent at the moment of submission - for traceability and protection against misuse.

Purpose of processing

Handling your enquiry - replying, preparing a quote, and any follow-up communication about an audit, pilot or long-term cooperation.

Legal basis

Legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) - replying to a question you sent us yourself. If a contract is subsequently concluded, the legal basis becomes performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Retention period

  • If the enquiry does not lead to a business relationship - we delete the data no later than within 12 months of the last communication.
  • If the enquiry results in a contract - we keep it for the duration of the contractual relationship and then for the period required by law (typically 10 years for accounting and tax records).

Recipients of the data

We do not pass on data from the form to third parties for their own purposes. By the nature of running the website, the data may be processed on a technical level by the following processors:

  • Hosting provider (the server on which the website and mailbox run) - a data centre in the EU.
  • Email provider - for delivering the message from the form and follow-up communication.

We do not send any data from the form to third countries outside the EU/EEA.

3. Cookies and analytics

Details of the individual tools and cookies can be found on the Cookies page. In brief:

  • Technical (necessary): we store only your choice from the cookie bar (inovai_consent in localStorage). No consent required.
  • Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity: loaded only with consent. They help us understand traffic and behaviour. We do not use them for ad targeting.

You can change your consent at any time via the cookie settings.

4. Your rights

As a data subject you have the following rights under the GDPR:

  • Right of access - to know what we process about you.
  • Right to rectification - if the data are inaccurate.
  • Right to erasure (the “right to be forgotten”).
  • Right to restriction of processing.
  • Right to data portability.
  • Right to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Right to withdraw consent (for analytics cookies via the settings).

Just write to michael@inovai.cz. We will reply within 30 days at the latest.

If you believe we are processing your data in breach of the regulations, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority - the Office for Personal Data Protection, uoou.gov.cz.

5. Changes to this document

We may update this policy - typically when a new tool is added or the legislation changes. The current version is always available on this page. The effective date is stated at the top.
