Copilot StudioLocal modelsWe’re launching a chatbot or agent
Can we run it on our own server?

Yes. If you can’t send data to the cloud, it runs on your server with a local model. We check answer quality on your own questions.

Will it answer something it shouldn’t?

It answers only from selected sources and, in the in-house version, according to the asker’s permissions. That is exactly what we try to break before launch, and we fix what we find.

Do we have to label it as AI?

Yes, from 2 August 2026 Article 50 of the AI Act requires it. Labelling is part of the deployment.
